Specifier Resources
At Bremworth, we believe in creating beautiful spaces that don't just look good but feel good too. That's why we're extremely proud to be certified as Declare® Living Building Council (LBC) Red List Free across all our carpet ranges.
Declare® screens products against the Living Building Challenge Red List—materials and chemicals known to harm both people and the planet.
Think of Declare® like a nutrition label for your home. It offers transparency on the ingredients that go into our carpets, giving you more peace of mind.
It is designed to help specifiers quickly identify products that meet their project requirements. Declare labels disclose all intentionally-added ingredients and residuals at or above 100ppm (0.01%) present in the final product by weight. Each ingredient must be reported with a chemical name, CAS number, and percentage or percentage range.
Declare screens a product’s ingredients directly against the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List, saving project teams from the arduous task of vetting products by hand. The LBC Red List contains the “worst in class” materials, chemicals and elements known to pose serious risks to human health and the greater ecosystem that may be present in the building products industry.
Bremworth carpets are made with 100% New Zealand wool and manufactured with quality and wellness in mind. Our Declare® certification means our products meet the rigorous standards of eco-conscious design accreditations like Greenstar, Living Building Challenge, LEED, and WELL.
